Community redeemed by Jesus Christ...
- Fully alive disciples… We learn how to practice God’s presence, move with the Holy Spirit, grow up in Christ. God’s grace compels us to seek reconciliation in our relationships with one another, living as a signpost to God’s new creation.
- Believer’s baptism… We invite youth and adults to be baptized as a public testimony of their commitment to follow Jesus as Lord, and as the gateway to full membership within the body of Christ.
- Multicultural relationships… We actively welcome multicultural relationships in hopes of reflecting God’s intention for the global bride of Christ.
Dwelling place of the Holy Spirit...
- Eucharismatic worship… We create space for God to meet us in worship through Spirit-led song, prayer, Word and Eucharist (The Lord’s Supper).
- Praying people… We pray, bringing every burden, every hope, every longing to Jesus Christ, who intercedes with us.
- Gifted givers… We value each person as a child of God uniquely gifted and equipped to glorify God, build up the body of Christ, and bless neighbors near and far.
Pursuing God’s glory...
- Biblical study… We stand under Scripture, immersing ourselves in God’s Story, and we receive the Bible as authoritative and life-giving for God’s people. The Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective will guide our preaching and teaching.
- Confessional communities… We confess our faith to remember our identity as the Church, and we confess our sin for our forgiveness and healing as broken people.
- Godly play… We practice God’s deep delight in all of us, from the youngest to the oldest, knowing that the joy of the Lord is our strength.
For the good of the world...
- Incarnational living… We share the good news of Jesus Christ as we inhabit our neighborhoods with gentleness and wisdom, seeking the peace of the broader community.
- Faithful engagement with culture… We engage the broader culture with wise spiritual discernment, seeking to affirm what is good and redeem what is distorted by sin.
- Culture of Multiplication… We obey Jesus’ call to make disciples, inviting others to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, nurturing those who respond into mature followers, and commissioning groups of disciples from among us to form new expressions of church in response to God’s call.
